Three more attractions have been added to the landscape in Seaton Sluice.

Local artist Tom Newstead has spent the last few months working on the trio of sculptures which can now be found dotted around the village.

The former boat builder has used driftwood to build a full size stag which overlooks Seaton Sluice, shells he found to finish off a ‘girl on a swing’ and sea clay for Neptune.

Tom, who earlier this year created a Viking goddess for the village and a rocking hare for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new son George, said: “It’s taken up to 18 months to complete these latest pieces – I’ve spent the last eight years creating these various artworks.

“They are just in Seaton Sluice for everyone to enjoy.”
