Residents are being given the chance to have their say on the future plans for Northumberland’s Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS).
The service has produced a draft version of its three-year plan, setting out its priorities up to 2017.
Among these are carrying out a county-wide review of key risks to communities to identify priorities and inform service delivery, along with a full review of how the service is managed and delivered.
NFRS chief fire officer Alex Bennett said: “This three year plan outlines the main risks to the communities of Northumberland and how we will use our resources efficiently to reduce those risks.”
The consultation closes on May 9, and a final version will be approved later this year.
