People who live and work in Northumberland are being asked to give their views on draft assessments of potential housing sites across the county.
Northumberland County Council is required to prepare a Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment, or SHLAA, that allows them to understand where sites exist with potential for housing development.
Sites included in the SHLAA have been put forward for consideration by landowners, developers, planning agents, the council and other interested parties.
Sites include vacant or derelict land and buildings, surplus public sector land, agricultural land, and areas which present additional housing opportunities within established residential areas.
Draft sites assessments have been created, and the council is inviting comments on these assessments until September 24.
Individual assessments of the sites can be viewed at www.northumberland.gov.uk/shlaa Comments should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent in writing, to Spatial Policy and Delivery Team, Development Services, Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF.
