Youngesters in Blyth had the chance to go face-to-face with some real creepy crawlies.
A free event in the Keel Row shopping centre saw shoppers and children get close to some exotic creatures.
The event was one of the centre’s Keel Row kids’ summer activities.
Snakes, tarantulas and millipedes were among the many creatures that featured at the centre’s Creepy-Crawly Road Show.
Adults and children alike were able to learn about the creaturers’ habitats, diet and lifestyle, helping them gain a better understanding of the natural world.
Callum Reid, centre manager at the Keel Row, said: “We were very excited to welcome The Creepy Crawly Show to Keel Row.
“It was great to be able to provide the local community with such a captivating and educational free event.”
