Winding up order against Bedlington Terriers is adjourned

BEDLINGTON Terriers have been given a temporary reprieve after being served a winding up order.

The Ebac Northern League division one club had been served the order by Trystar Construction Limited, of Choppington.

A hearing into the matter took place at court in Newcastle today (Friday) but was adjourned until next week.

A spokesperson at the club confirmed the adjournment and said preparations had now moved to their league fixture on Saturday against Shildon at the Terriers’ Welfare Park ground.

As revealed in the News Post Leader this week, the club remain optimistic of reaching an agreement which will keep them going.
