Woman dies following crash in Northumberland

A WOMAN has died after her car crashed into a wall in Blyth.

Police are investigating after a crash at 6.55am this morning, Wednesday, December 12, on Horton Road, Bebside, Blyth, where a Vauxhall Corsa left the road and collided with a wall.

The female driver in her 40s was taken to RVI where she later died.

The roads in the area were closed for investigation.

Police are carrying out enquries and anyone with invofmation should call 101 ext 69191 and ask for the Road Safety Unit at Etal Lane police station.
