A MAN was taken to hospital on Friday after being stabbed during an incident in a street.
Police were called to Welbeck Road in Sheepwash following reports of an altercation in the street between four men at 7.50pm on Friday, August 26.
Police and ambulance attended and found a 36-year-old man had been stabbed.
The injured man was taken to Wansbeck General Hospital and was released after treatment.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the area, and three men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and are helping police with their enquiries.
