Mobile sight service unit in town for one day visit

A PIONEERING sight loss service will in Morpeth next week.

Action for Blind People’s pioneering mobile Sight Loss Information Service packed with the latest aids, equipment and specialist advice for blind and partially sighted people will be in town after an invite from Northumberland County Blind Association.

The mobile service, run by national charity Action for Blind People, will open its doors to people interested in or affected by visual impairment.

The unit will be outside the county association’s Reiver House base in Staithes Lane on Wednesday, July 20, between 10am and 3pm.

Anyone who is unable to visit the Sight Loss Information Service but has a query should call the Royal National Institute for the Blind helpline on 0303 123 9999.
