A NEW social project has been produced in order to help stop discrimination against different cultures.
Wansbeck Young Peoples Forum has been working with Association for Educational Specialised Serviced Open Wings, from Romania.
Together they have came up with the project Social Inclusion through Cultural Exchange.
The aim is to promote cultural exchange and to help people to understand the Roma and non Roma culture by disadvantaged young people from the UK.
The young people will learn about social inclusion along with team skills as well as communication skills and how to accept their own cultural values.
All the youngsters are living with discrimination every day, but it is hoped the exchange can help them speak about culture, both Romanian and English.
