Two people have been arrested following a disturbance in Northumberland.

Police were called to an address in Queens Gardens, in Annitsford, at around 5.42am on Sunday, August 23, following reports of a disturbance.

And 15 minutes later there was a report of a burglary in Queens Road where a TV and cash were taken.

A police spokesperson said both incidents were being linked.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of affray and released on police bail.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incidents and appealing for anyone who was in Queens Gardens or Queens Road on Sunday morning to get in contact.
