PAVING: A danger to pedestrians

Might I suggest that the council gets itself to the main street in Ashington and checks all the areas of block paving.

A great many places are nothing short of dangerous to pedestrians.

Blocks are either sunk, lifted or tilted, creating a minefield of trip hazards.

Now, or very soon, we will have the added risk of ice as the water pools and freezes in the undulations caused by the subsiding paving blocks.

This needs fixing now, before someone is seriously injured. Or are the coffers empty after the building of the new leisure centre?

And when is the council going to do something about the terrible traffic problems in Lintonville Terrace?

I have sometimes had to queue as far back as the Motimer Club to get to Asda for the shopping.
