Police appeal after arson destroys £14k of hay

Police are appealing for witnesses after hundreds of hay bales were deliberately set on fire in a field near Holywell.

It happened at West Field Farm in East Holywell between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 26.

The 1,100 hay bales, valued at £14,000 and stacked up covering an area of 13 metres by eight metres, were set on fire and totally destroyed.
