Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a missing Northumberland man and continue to ask for the public's help.

Jason Creighton, 35, was last seen at his home address on Longridge Way in Cramlington at around 9.40am yesterday morning. His disappearance is out of character and both his family and police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Jason is described as 5ft10in tall, of medium build, with short dark hair and a dark, goatee-style beard. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, dark blue combat trousers and a grey woolly hat.

Chief Inspector Ali Best said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jason and appeal for the public's help to trace him. His disappearance is out of character and his family are anxious for Jason to get in touch to let them know he's safe and well. Anyone who may have seen Jason or have any information to help is asked to contact police straight away."

Jason, or anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts, should contact police immediately on 101, extension 69191, quoting reference 301 28/10/15.
