Everyone’s favourite postman will be visiting Cramlington all the way from the village of Greendale this weekend, as Postman Pat arrives at Manor Walks this month for storytelling and a special mission.

Children from across the region will have the opportunity to see Postman Pat during his visit to Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure in Cramlington on Sunday, August 30.

As part of his visit, the popular TV character will be appearing during story time sessions, led by a narrator, at 11am, 12noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm in Centre Mall. Youngsters will also have the chance to complete Pat’s Special Mission, a centre-wide treasure hunt.

Free tickets for the story time sessions are now available to book online via Manor Walks’ website with a limited number of tickets also available on the appearance day. To take part in Pat’s Special Mission families should collect their mission postcards from Centre Mall on the day.

Manor Walks’ general manager Bruno Coppola said: “Postman Pat is certainly an iconic character that transcend generations and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone’s favourite postman to the heart of Cramlington later this month.

“During his visit children will have the opportunity to enjoy story telling sessions with Postman Pat as well as participating in Pat’s Special Mission.

“Our character visits continue to see strong demand from our loyal visitors and also create a wonderful atmosphere at the centre, so I’d urge people to book their tickets via our website as soon as possible to ensure they don’t miss out, although we will also be offering a select number of tickets on the day.”

Free tickets for the Postman Pat story time sessions at Manor Walks can be booked by visiting the Manor Walks website.
