More jobs could be created at a Northumberland company after a successful trading period.

Design and print company Azure Printing, which holds charitable status, says it will also secure current jobs following a 40 per cent increase in short run digital printing.

The company, based in Pegswood, is looking forward to a brighter future, which could ultimately result in new jobs being created.

Manager Allan Lynn said: “Some clients sell their books online, some want to leave them for loved ones and others want to give them as gifts.

“Gone are the days of it being cheaper to print more. With our new digital machinery we can print small amounts at low prices, with reruns being great value too.”

A number of charities use Azure for design and print too, including Age UK Northumberland, Northumberland County Blind Association, Useful Vision, Hextol / Green Box, Carers Northumberland and Three Rivers Trust.

Allan added: “Our speed of turnaround, delivery options, and full support throughout design is making us popular with charities.

“We make their lives easier with low cost quick solutions to all their print needs.”
