Pub appealing for community champions

INSPIRING members of the local community are set to be rewarded by a local pub.

Moor Farm Beefeater Grill is searching for the most deserving members of the neighbourhood to win its Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award and is asking for nominations to find the most inspiring individuals who will be awarded a bursary of £1,000 to help them continue their good work.

The award aim to reward individuals and organisations who support their local neighbourhood and give of their own time to help others.

The £1,000 bursary, which will be awarded to ten winning entrants from across the UK, will serve to both recognise the hard work, which has already been done, and further aid their work into the coming year.

Sam Vaughn, marketing manager at Beefeater Grill, said: “If you know someone who is constantly thinking of others before themselves and helps to make your community a better place then we would like to hear from you.

“Scout leaders, youth workers and Sunday league coaches alike – it’s time to say thank you to those people who make our neighbourhood somewhere to be proud of.”

Nomination forms are at www.beefeatergrill.co.uk/champions and entries close March 28.
