Two Bedlingtonshire Community High School pupils are hoping to build on initiatives already under way there to tackle bullying
Charlotte Davidson and Luke Brown gave anti-bullying talks at assembles at the Bedlington school in November to all year groups, and they now want to see action taken to ensure their message is still getting across.
“After the assemblies, I had a number of messages on Facebook and students coming up to me to give us some really positive feedback,” said Charlotte, 14.
“I felt very proud to have been of some help.”
Luke, 15, added: “It was very rewarding to help people being bullied.
“As a result of doing the assemblies we are really wanting to get involved in a programme about anti-bulling, and we really hope that pupils will support us and also get involved to help us.”
