Youngsters at a county primary school who have been learning about bullying have taken part in an anti bullying march.
Cambois Primary School pupils have been learning about bullying based ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me’.
Acting headteacher Anne Richardson said: “The children have discovered the power of words and the effect they can have on how we feel about ourselves.
“They have decided what makes a great friend and how they can be one.
“They have also looked at how we are all different with different strengths and how these should be celebrated.
“This personal and social education helps the children gain more empathy and understanding of each other making Cambois Primary School a very happy place to learn.”
