A RACE night will be held at the Whitehouse Social Club in Ashington on Thursday, May 12, to raise money for people with brain injuries.
Headway Central Northumberland are holding the event, with a pie and pea supper, from 7.30pm.
The night has been organised to raise awareness during Action for Brain Injury Week and will be the first fundraising event of the newly launched branch of the national charity Headway.
Headway Central Northumberland is a voluntary group of individuals affected by brain injury in the central and south east Northumberland area.
The aim of the branch is to become a source of contact, mutual support and social companionship and to provide information and advice for people affected by brain injury.
