Youngsters from a Cramlington school have taken part in a sponsored event to raise money for their Enterprise Fund, which supports visits and activities.

Each class at Eastlea Primary School took part in events on the day with the youngest pupils wheeling buggies, bikes or scooters round the school yard, Year 3 and Year 4 going out into the local park to complete circuits on either bikes, scooters or on foot, and Year 5 and Year 6 pupils went one took part in a sponsored ‘Bike or Hike’ event.

Head teacher, Emma Beeston said: “Once again we have been extremely well supported in our recent fundraising event. We were delighted by the response of everyone and an action packed day was made far easier by the support of local police and community.”
