The event was organised by Bebside Gun Club, specifically to raise funds for the RNLI, by David Harvey and Adam Harvey along with Jim Peel and John Leightley, with a range of competitions available including clay pigeon shooting and catapult competitions.

After a competitive day, the final winners were: catapult – Mark Forster, pool shoot – Gary Harnett, and high gun – D Blackburn.

David and Adam presented a tin containing £700 to members of Newbiggin RNLI, and a further £80 was given in lieu of prizes for the raffle, and from collection boxes at the event on the day.
