A supermarket in Blyth has been officially reopened following a significant refurbishment.

Aldi welcomed customers back into its new-look store on Cowpen Road on Thursday, which was officially re-opened by representatives from Blyth West Children’s Centre, following a donation of a selection of gardening supplies to the centre.

A number of improvements have been made including a new shop floor, entrance lobby, trolley park and car park, creating a better shopping environment for customers.

Store manager, Peter Fentum, said: “The team and I really enjoyed welcoming customers back into their upgraded store, and it was great to see some new faces too.”
