Sign needed at bus stop

On behalf of the residents of Bader House in Blyth, many thanks to Labour councillor Eileen Cartie for acting on the suggestion that the kerb be lowered adjacent to the main entrance.

This will go some way to alleviate problems when crossing the road.

Another situation that gives concern is at the bus stop opposite. Here the cycle way comes to a start and finish nearby.

This results in passengers having to alight with extreme care, looking right and left before especially going on to the pavement.

A painted sign warning both passengers and cyclists may be of assistance.
