BUDDING photographers both young and old are being invited to battle it out in a wildlife picture competition.
Northumberland, Durham and Tees Valley Wildlife Trusts have joined forces with the Natural History Society of Northumbria and the Great North Museum: Hancock in the hope that keen snappers will showcase the best of region’s wildlife.
There are five categories to enter and a maximum of five images can be submitted in total.
Entrants must state which category they are entering and can submit more than one image per category.
The closing date for entries is midnight on Thursday, January 31.
The winning and runner-up images will be displayed in the Galleria at the Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle in March before going on tour around the region.
