A group of young disabled riders are celebrating after they took part in a major national championships.

Eight riders from the Pegasus Centre, near Morpeth, were among hundreds who took part in the three-day RDA National Dressage Championships in Gloucestershire.

The riders came back with a host of rosettes, including four-year-old Jordan Hartley, from Choppington, who was fifth in combined training and fifth in dressage, Kieren Saddler, 14, from Cramlington, finished fifth in combined training, third in dressage, and fifth in countryside challenge, ten-year-old Chloe Wyatt from Blyth, came second in level 3 show jumping, and Lloyd Hartshorne, 14, from Seaton Delaval, came fourth in level 1 show jumping.
