The engagement and development team was recognised for its work with looked after children and young people, developing ways for them to put their views across, be listened to and influence services.
The awards aim to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work and contribution that youth services and individuals across the region have made to the youth sector.
Paul Moffat, corporate director of children’s services at Northumberland County Council said: “These awards are a great reflection of the work that the team and individuals have achieved with young people in Northumberland.
“There is a great pride in the work that our officers do to invest in the futures of children and young adults and we strive to maintain and build on these high standards.”
