Staff from a Cramlington supermarket have been keepig their town clean as part of a Big Litter Pick initiative.

The staff at Asda in the town have joined forces with members of the community to save Seven Oaks Park from litter louts.

Community colleague Dorothy Lang said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has joined us on our big litter pick at Seven Oaks Park.

“We hope that what we are doing will make a real difference.

“We should be proud of where we live and work, and make it an attractive, safe and clean place to be.”
