MORPETH Lions Club’s annual ‘Dickens of a Draw’, organised by club member Mike Nicholson, has just taken place with more than 30 prizes handed out.
These included a first prize of a week’s holiday in any of the Parkdean Holidays sites kindly donated by the company director, John Waterworth.
The second prize was a weekend break at Linden Hall, near Morpeth.
As usual, Morpeth Lions Club offered local charities and organisations the opportunity to raise funds, which this year exceeded £5,000.
Tickets and prizes were provided; all the organisations had to do was sell the tickets – and the money will be returned to them in January.
Prizewinners are being notified and the winning numbers are 32669; 7121; 14310; 14813; 19678; 40248; 13567; 37853; 14735; 32415; 8852; 29244; 1773; 13961; 14835; 22049; 31729; 19509; 31383; 30363; 17185; 14212; 38856; 28792; 2564; 17902; 21469; 1698; 0668; 24467 and 6173.
Morpeth Lions Club is most grateful to all those who supported the Dickens of a Draw event, either by buying tickets or providing prizes.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all your readers for their support, and wish them a very happy Christmas and all the best for the coming New Year.
