A church is carrying out a survey to find out what aspect of life people find most difficult.

Hope Church, which is behind the Community Help Hub in Bedlington, is asking local people to answer one question – What hurts most?

People can answer the question at a stall in Bedlington market place over the next few Thursdays, or responses can be sent by text to 07977 646313, or submitted online at www.whathurtsmost.org.uk

There is also a voting box at the Community Help Hub, which is open on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Dennis Fancett, one of the leaders at Hope Church, said: “We are not claiming to have all the answers, but we want to listen and learn, and then in June we will hold a series of meetings at which we will respond to the most common issues that people in this community have raised.”

Megan Warren, who is leading the project, added: “We want to know what aspect of life people find most difficult, or causes the most pain or anxiety. We want you to tell us, in your own words – What hurts most?”

Hope Church meets on Sunday mornings at 11am at East Bedlington Community Centre at Bedlington Station.
