Beautiful weather and a top line-up of stalls and entertainment saw record crowds visit Morpeth earlier this month for the town’s fourth annual Food and Drink Festival.

It featured a range of stalls and attractions at Sanderson Arcade, Bridge Street, the Market Place, Newgate Street and the Town Hall.

Producers of food and drinks from across the region and further afield joined local traders and seven chefs delighted the crowds at the demonstration kitchen in the Market Place, which Matt Bailey from Capital FM hosted.

The music at the event was provided by Monsoon Steel Band, Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Band.
