Tenants get opportunity to have say

Have your say

A housing firm is going on the road over the coming weeks to encourage its residents to have their say on the services provided.

The Homes for Northumberland roadshow will see staff, including the managing director, visit tenants at more than 50 locations across south east Northumberland.

The team will be going out to residents on their doorsteps in a special branded bus and also holding sessions in local community centres.

The initiative is designed to involve residents and offer them the opportunity to have their say about the work of Homes for Northumberland.

It will give tenants the opportunity to meet the team, talk to staff about existing services, answer any questions and get more involved in the housing company.

Kevin Lowry, managing director at Homes for Northumberland, said: “Resident feedback is extremely important to us and we endeavour to make it as easy as possible for residents to tell us what they think – that’s why we decided to hold the roadshow so we could bring the opportunity out to them on their doorsteps.

“Our residents are at the very heart of what we do and by getting their feedback it enables us to evolve and be constantly improving our services.’’
