Thank you to ‘good samaritans’ who helped my son

Have your say

On Saturday, May 31, at about 4.50pm, my son was riding his motorbike to work when he was involved in a road traffic accident on the North Seaton roundabout.

He was in collision with a car and thrown from his motorcycle and landed on the central reservation.

May I take this opportunity of thanking all the road users who stopped and went to his assistance, and in particular an off-duty female doctor who I believe attended to him at the scene.

May we also thank the paramedics and staff at Wansbeck General Hospital A&E, who did a terrific job.

My son is bruised and sore, but could have been a lot worse. He was released from hospital and is recovering at home.

He was not able to thank anyone at the scene, so a big thank you to all the good samaritans involved.
