Views are sought on health trust

A ROADSHOW is set to hit the streets next week to help people have more say on health services.

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is staging a series of presentations in communities across south east Northumberland from Monday to Thursday.

Officials are looking for members of the public’s views about hospital and community health services, their recent experiences of them, and their thoughts about how they could be made even better.

The roadshow will be at Sainsbury’s car park, Manor Walks, Cramlington, on August 6, from 2pm to 5pm.

It will then visit Blyth, Bedlington, Ashington and Morpeth.

Claire Riley, director of communications and engagement at the trust, said: “As the provider of hospital and community health services in North Tyneside and hospital, community health and adult social care services in Northumberland, we are keen to find out what people think about the care they receive so we can continually improve.

“In May, we ran a number of roadshows in the Berwick area which were a great success.

“These give people in communities across Northumberland an opportunity to have their say.”

At the roadshows, people will be able learn more about the trust’s £200m investment to improve healthcare.

“They will also be able to find out more about becoming a member of the trust, sign up to be a member and meet local governors.
