MOTOR enthusiasts are invited to a charity vintage vehicle display at a Northumberland garden centre this Sunday, August 14.
The Vintage and Classic Car Show in aid of St Oswald’s Hospice will take place in the car park at Heighley Gate Nursery & Garden Centre, on the A697 Wooler to Coldstream road, near Morpeth, on Sunday, August 14, from 11am until 3pm.
Generam manager Roger Wale said: “We are delighted to be holding an exhibit of classic cars at the garden centre for St Oswald’s Hospice.
“The Hospice, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is one of the charities that we have been fundraising for throughout 2011.
“During the day we will have donation buckets around the garden centre and will be running various competitions as part of our fundraising.”
St Oswald’s Hospice provides specialist care for adults, young people and children in the north east.
