Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft from a Northumberland care home.
It happened between 9am and 2.30pm on Tuesday, July 7, at Albion Court in Albion Way in Blyth.
Thieves entered the communal garden and stole a marble plaque with the care home name Albion Court and the old telephone number inscribed on it.
The plaque is described as a rectangle approximately 40cms x 30cms, slate grey/ black colour with gold and white flecks, it has a crack in the bottom left corner. Thieves also stole a bicycle.
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police. Also anyone who may be offered either item for sale is asked to speak to officers.
