Hospitality students from a Northumberland school have brought Christmas cheer to the local community.
Senior citizens from around the area were invited into Bedlingtonshire Community High School for some festive fun.
The guests arrived to welcome drinks, which was followed with a game of bingo, before they settled down to a Christmas lunch.
During the meal guests enjoyed music performances from a variety of students.
The hospitality students organised a raffle where lucky guests took away Christmas food hampers, and to end the day they were treated to a performance by the school choir.
Assistant headteacher Jamie Bell said: “Well done to all the students involved, an excellent afternoon was had by all.
“All the students were excellent and did the school proud.”
