The achievements of youngsters and youth organisations who make a difference in the community have been recognised.

Young people from the Isabella Youth Project attended Northumberland’s Finest Award Ceremony at Newbiggin Leisure Centre, held to recognise the achievements of youth organisations throughout Northumberland who have made a difference.

The Isabella Youth Project won the Enterprise Award for taking part in the £100 challenge where the youngsters came up with the idea of making Christmas tree decorations and cards to sell to centre users and to the general public at a charity stall in Asda Blyth, which made £403 to be spent on activities for the young people.
