Bomarsund second team went down to Clara Vale by eight wickets as an unbeaten 97 from Adeel Waheed handed the hosts the game on Saturday.
After losing the toss Bomarsund were put into bat and openers Graham Pattinson and Neil Straker produced an excellent display as they put on 116.
Pattinson departed for 70, his first 50 for the club, and Straker 60 as the visitors made 163-5 from their 40 overs after their next four batsmen only made 24 runs between them.
In reply, Adam Gardner struck early in the innings removing Andrew Porteous, and Tom More left the hosts on 23-2 when he removed fellow opener Deepak Vedhara.
However, the good start from Bomar was to no avail as Joe Kelly and Waheed put on a remarkable 141-run stand to secure the game inside 26 overs.
Clara Vale 27 points
Bomarsund 6 points
The defeat leaves the second team second bottom of the division ahead of a crunch match next week against bottom of the table Blyth at the Welfare.
