Ashington seconds retained top spot on Saturday evening after a dominant display over bottom-placed Ryton at Langwell Crescent Memorial Ground, with Scott Dunn making a century for Ashington.
Ryton won the toss and decided to bowl first and had to wait until the ninth over for the breakthrough.
Matthew Potts, who made 76 at Tynedale last Saturday, skied a ball to mid-wicket to depart for 25.
Simon Prudhoe looked good at the crease before being trapped lbw off Coxon for 24 in the 21st over.
From then on, Dunn and Matthew Storey never looked in doubt with the bat. Both scored freely and at ease, the pair were unbeaten at the end.
Dunn batted through for 112 not out, his second senior hundred and highest score, and Storey made an unbeaten 81.
Ryton lost opener Robb in the first over as he edged a Mathew Potts delivery to Martin Thewlis in the slips for four.
They never really got their innings going with any serious momentum and collapsed to 89 all out off 27 overs.
The pick of the Ashington bowlers were Potts and Alex Storey, who both took three wickets each.
On Saturday Ashington seconds travel to Newcastle City.
