BLYTH Spartans FC are reducing admission prices for the home game against Workington on Tuesday, February 8 as part of a ‘Supporters Day’.
Prices for the 7.45pm kick-off will be reduced with a full ticket from £10 to £5 and concessions from £5.50 to £3.
The club said it recognises that because of previous postponed matches there is a concentration of homes games that this has an effect on supporters’ finances.
It is also gives an opportunity for additional supporters to go along to Croft Park or the chance for regulars to encourage friends and family to attend a game and experience the atmosphere of non-league football.
Season ticket holders will be compensated via free friendly admission / discounts for next season, and this will be announced prior to next season.
There is a possibility that the game may have to be rearranged if Spartans draw Saturday’s game with Droylsden in the FA Trophy.
If that is the case, the ‘Supporters Day’ will take place at the match against Redditch on February 22.
