AFTER a successful season and winning promotion to division one of the Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League, Cramlington Bay Horse FC celebrated their success with an end of season presentation night and pool competition.
The trophies were evenly spread among the team this season. Top goalscorer was Darren Robinson who scored more than 20 goals.
Manager’s player of the season was won by Michael Walton, who showed excellent consistency with a great team spirit and never say die attitude on and off the field in his first season.
Player’s player of the season was Karl Boughen, who has had an unbelievable year, with his movement with and without the ball proving unstoppable at times.
The main award once again fell in the hands of Boughen as he picked up player of the season.
He picked up most man of the match awards in games played this season, and also had a good eye for goalscoring.
There were two other awards – miss of the season went to Kieran Bishop and linesman of the year went to Lee Anderson.
Also the presentation night gave the Bay Horse a chance to show off one of their two new sponsors for next season as Cramlington Improvements presented them their new strips for next campaign.
