Bedlingtonshire High School competed in the Schools Sport Partnership (SSP) tournament.

Despite a strong performance against St Benet Biscop A in their opening game they went down 2-0, with Jack Godsmark and Kray Quigley having good chances.

In the second game they played a strong team from Blyth Academy, but again were defeated, this time 3-0.

In the third round against Meadowdale A it ended in a 5-0 defeat.

In the fourth fixture the team played well against St Benet Biscop Academy B, however, they did not take their chances and lost 3-0.

The strongest performance was in the final game against Meadowdale A.

There was strong defending from Joe Stafford, great goalkeeping skills from Ethan Poland and Godsmark hit the post and crossbar on several occasions.

Overall the students who represented Bedlington played well and enjoyed the tournament.
