Robbie Bird picked up two awards at the Whitley Bay FC presentation night held on Saturday.
The young winger, who has scored 18 goals in his first season at Hillheads, received the Players’ Player of the Year Award from club chairman Paul McIlduff.
Bird was also voted Supporters’ Player of the Year.
Defender Craig McFarlane, who picked up a serious ankle injury just before the end of the season, was named Player of the Year while teenage goalkeeper Dan Gladstone was named Young Player of the Year.
Paul Robinson’s stunning 25-yard shot in the win over West Auckland was voted Goal of the Season while striker Peter Watling won the Leading Goalscorer Award with 29 goals.
There was also a special award to Glen Martin, who received a framed picture of himself at Wembley to mark his retirement after 13 years as club physio.
