Broomhill North End Trap score six to book semi-final place

Broomhill North End Trap secured their place in the last four of the Standard Security Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League SA Randolph Cup.

They booked a place in the semi-final with a 6-0 home win over Isabella Blyth. In a competitive game it was the quality finishing that won the day with goals from Joe Henderson (3), Reece Ramsey (2) and Kevin Bell.

In the quater-final of the Saints Shield, Newsham Victory went through to the by the odd goal in five against Ashington Sporting Club. Goals for the Vic came from David Lillico (2) and Daniel James, while Paul McKale and Scott Neal scored for Sporting Club.

The other two ties were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

There were no games in the premier division due to the waterlogged conditions.

Division one saw ten-man FC Beacon go down at home 9-0 against High Street. Chris Arkless led the scoring for Street with four. Brandon Nadeem (3) and Anthony Goldie (2) completed the scoring.

Burradon and New Fordley's FA Sunday Cup tie at Halton Moor in Leeds was called off on Saturday and will now be played on Sunday, November 22, with a 1pm kick-off.
