TWO sides scored eight goals in the Thursday night MB Socca Leagues at the Hirst Centre in Ashington.

Real Ashington maintained their three-point lead at the top with a 6-0 win over Sparta Hatbreath.

Second placed V & N Jewellers put four past Station Boys with two in return.

The final game saw in-form Multiple Scoregasms move off bottom spot with a superb 8-1 win over Base FC.

Last week they beat reigning champions Real Ashington.

In division two Station FC pulled off a 3-1 win against top side The Whipping Boys.

Despite a player being sin-binned for two minutes due to dissent shown to the referee, they rallied well and deserved the win.

Red Devils moved into second place with an 8-1 win overs Newsham.

The final game saw Ashington All Stars beat Old Stars of Ashington 6-4.

Teams are welcome to register for the leagues and must call 07891 321753 or 07921 620308 to join.
