SEATON Delaval Dynamos Tiblisi ran out victorious after a hard fought game with Ponteland on Saturday in the NCYP Under-12 Cup final.

The game started with Ponteland pushing forward and only a great save from Sam Milburn in the Dynamos goal stopped them going ahead.

Both teams had a fair share of the ball but it was Ponteland who went ahead with a goal squeezed through two defenders and in at the near post.

Both teams played some good football and after trailing 1-0 at half time, Seaton Delaval equalised with a strong header from Jack Mullen.

Some great pressure led to another corner which Ryan Tweddle curled in for Brandon Thorpe to head home what proved to be the winning goal.

Thanks went to Jon Niblo of NCYP and Heaton Hawks for their facilities.
