Elephant send Base crashing

NORTH Seaton Elephant pulled off the result of the night in the MB Socca League as they defeated current champions and leaders Base FC.

In what was a great advertisement for the leagues it was end to end action last Thursday night at The Hirst Welfare Centre.

Elephant stay unbeten and looked at their best as they fired in two late goals to win 5-2.

Real Ashington now sit at the top of divsion one as some clinical finishing helped them see off Multiple Scoregasms 4-1.

Newcomers Sparta Hatbreath look a strong outfit and looked on course for all three points until the last few minutes when Newbiggin Blaze equalised to earn a 1-1 draw.

The Biggin are ticking along nicely and they secured a great 3-1 win over Newsham.

Division two leaders Station FC lost their 100 per cent record in the 1-1 draw with The Doggers.

In a topsy turvy affair Ashington All Stars stay on the leaders’ tails as they won a thrilling and entertaining game against Brazilliant 3-2.

A tremendous display by Newbiggin Bad Boys saw them at last get some points on the board as they deservedly beat A Town Rangers 3-1 to swap places at the foot of the league.

The final game saw Station Boys defeat The Grand 3-0.
