Blyth Rangers Deportivo Under-14s came from 3-1 down to claim the points against Morpeth Town.

Morpeth took the lead in the 15th minute before Blyth equalised seven minutes later with Reece Halliday heading in Phoenix Telfer’ s corner.

However a defensive lapse saw Morpeth take a 2-1 half-time lead.

Morpeth extended their advantage four minutes into the second half when their centre forward beat the Blyth defence to a long ball and steered it past Cockburn in goal to make it 3-1.

Halliday reduced the arrears two minutes later when he followed in on David Dunworth’ s shot which was parried by the Morpeth keeper and scored from close range.

Dunworth then made it 3-3 when his long range shot squirmed in.

Both sides pushed for a winner but it was Blyth who scored the telling goal in the final minute.

Shane Clough went on a powerful run into the box before standing up a perfect cross which was headed in by man of the match Halliday.
