NEW Hartley and Chester-le-Street met for the second time in five days with Hartley winning both.
At Chester’s Moor Park in midweek they won 2-1 with Niall Younger and Danny Young on target.
On Saturday the two sides met at Hartley in the Lady Eden Cup semi-final with Hartley winning 4-1.
Hartley took the lead on five minutes with a header from skipper Dan Boul.
Five minutes into the second half Paul Johnson put through his own goal and then Younger made it 3-0.
With 15 minutes remaining Young put the game out of Chester’s reach although Luke Wilson pulled one back.
New Hartley Juniors were due to play their first cup final of the season last night (Wednesday) against Leam Lane Rangers in the final of the Durham Lady Eden Cup at the Riverside in Chester-le-Street, 6.30pm kick-off.
On Saturday Hartley host league leaders Gateshead in the Durham Youth League Cup semi-final at 1.30pm.
Monday night sees Hartley play Walker Central in the final of the NFA Junior Cup at Blue Flames, 6.30pm kick-off.
