Multiple earn three points

MB Socca Leagues hosted another top quality night of football at The Hirst Welfare Centre in Ashington on Thursday night as Multiple Scoregasms, who are rooted at the bottom of the first division, secured their first points of the season in beating second placed V & N Jewellers 4-3.

Leaders Real Ashington were in shock too as their 100 per cent record went as Station Boys pulled off a great 2-1 victory to go joint second.

Base FC got back to winning ways and will be happy to take the pressure off manager Clarky as they beat Sparta Hatbreath 3-0.

The Whipping Boys are still flying high at the top of division two as they made it five wins out of five with a tried and testing 2-1 win over Ashington Old Stars.

The Red Devils cemented joint second slot with a determined effort against Ashington All Stars to win 2-0.

The final game saw bottom team Station FC gain their first points of the season as they saw of the disappointment of four straight defeats to just sneak past Newsham 2-1.

The leagues are always on the lookout for new teams and any prospective new teams wanting to form a third division are welcome to join.
